Oern Stuge is a qualified doctor and an international executive with 25 years of experience in the life science sector, including time as a Senior Vice President at Medtronic Inc.
He currently holds several directorships and works with a portfolio of innovative companies in roles varying from Executive Chairman to Advisor. He has a medical degree from University of Oslo and an MBA from IMD (International Institute for Management Development).
Gunnar Weikert is Chairman and Founder of Inventages. He has more than 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and prior to founding Inventages, he was a senior vice president and global head for life science deals at Bayer AG.
He oversaw venture investments in technology companies and collaborations representing some of the biggest deals between big-pharma and biotechnology in the mid to late 1990’s. Gunnar holds an MD, a PhD in the field of metabolism and a business education.
Fred Edenius is a Director of Anglo Scientific, Apta Biosciences and Solus Scientific.
He has previously worked in Technology Mergers & Acquisitions with UBS Investment Bank in San Francisco. He has a wide variety of experience across different technology sectors and geographies. He has an AB Harvard University and MBA London Business School.
Michel Gardet is the Global Business Head Medical Nutrition for Nestlé Health Science S.A.
Since 2007, Michel Gardet has been Senior Vice President and in charge of Nestlé HealthCare Nutrition business. Prior to that, between 2002 and 2007, he was CEO of Novartis Medical Nutrition, which was taken over by Nestlé in 2007.
Between 2000 and 2002, Michel Gardet was General Manager of Novartis Consumer Health Iberia, based in Barcelona (Spain). Between 1997 and 2000, he was Head of Health & Functional Nutrition and prior to that, between 1994 and 1997, Michel Gardet was Head of the Business Unit Health Food at Sandoz Nutrition Headquarters in Switzerland.
Between 1981 and 1994, he held positions of increasing responsibility in the US and France advancing from Junior Consultant to Senior Consultant to Manager and ultimately to Business Development Director and Director of Marketing and Sales. He started his professional career in 1979 as Area Export Manager for Agro Development in Paris.
He is a French Business School graduate and holds a Master in Business Management and Administration.
Michel Gardet is a founding member of the Medical Nutrition International Industry Association.
Professor Shaheen Hamdy is an Honorary Consultant Gastroenterologist at Salford Royal Hospital NHS Trust and Professor of Neurogastroenterology at the University of Manchester.
Prof.Hamdy is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London, Board Member of the European Society for Swallowing Disorders, previous Chair of the Neurogastroenterology and Motility Section of the British Society of Gastroenterology and a Member of the American Gastroenterology Association.
